The newly built Bailey Hall in the Wallace Hall Academy has disabled access and is more suitable for the Blues Festival main event, with a large stage and better sound-proofing.

The pub venue of the Thornhill Inn originated in 1700 and has always been seen as the local pub. The original sand stone walls are exposed and the entire pub has a solid oak floor with original reconditioned features like shotters, coving, fireplaces and doors.
There is a pool table along with local challengers.
The Hotel was built by the Duke of Buccleuch in 1851 and includes a function room and main lounge for guests wishing to mix with anglers and worthies of the village of Thornhill, who meet in [...]
The Elmarglen Hotel was built in 1796 and was a temperance establishment until the 1980’s but then changed to milk and alcohol. Regular music events are held throughout the year.
Parking is available at the front of the hotel and we also provide secure parking for motorbikes. Reasonable rates are available for bed and breakfast.
